Hi, I’m Teacher Kenzi! I am the Director and Owner of K’s Academy and have over twelve years of experience in early childhood education, including eight years leading and operating K’s Academy, four years teaching preschool prior to that, and six years working as a nanny.

My passion for child development led me to study Early Childhood Education and explore a variety of educational philosophies, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and play-based learning. I am deeply committed to creating a nurturing, thoughtfully designed environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

In addition to my formal education, I prioritize ongoing professional development and complete multiple early childhood courses and trainings each year to ensure our program remains current, research-based, and held to the highest teaching standards. I believe that in order to give children our very best, we must continue learning and growing alongside them.

I am happily married and a proud mom of three wonderful children—ages eleven, six, and two—who inspire my work every day and continually deepen my understanding of child development. Outside of the classroom, I love traveling with my family and continuing to expand my knowledge through audiobooks and podcasts focused on early childhood development.
